SYNTHETIC MUSES 2.0

Experimental Art with Gen AI at BACC

SYNTHETIC MUSES 2.0

Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC)

About the project

SYNTHETIC MUSES 2.0 (Experimental Art with Gen AI) was an experimental art exhibition organized by the Artificial Intelligence Creative Association of Thailand (AICAT) together with the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC) and the SCG Foundation, supported by VulcanX, Zotac Gaming and Too Fast To Sleep. Eight of Thailand's leading artists — including Suttichart Sarapaiwanich, Taitern Flipped Face and Dojo Namwong — were paired with more than eleven top Thai AI creators to co-create works fusing human craft with generative AI. The show ran at the New Gen Space on BACC's third floor from 24 December 2024 to 12 January 2025, free of charge.

A full programme surrounded the exhibition: a Grand Opening with the panel "Shifting Perspectives: Art in the Age of AI", an international panel talk featuring world-class generative-AI creators Olivio Sarikas and AI Andy, seven free AI workshops across two full days — from Prompt Engineering, Stable Diffusion and ComfyUI to AI 3D and generative video — and a National Children's Day "Amusement AI & Arts Park", where children extended their hand drawings with AI tools. The project underscored AICAT's role in advancing Thailand's creative economy with artificial intelligence.
