Membership Terms & Refund Policy
These terms set out the membership application process, fees, application review, and refund policy of the Artificial Intelligence Creative Association of Thailand. Please read them carefully before applying.
Effective 21 July 2026
1. Scope and Acceptance
These terms govern membership applications and membership of the Artificial Intelligence Creative Association of Thailand (the “Association”) via www.aicat.or.th. By submitting an application, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.
These terms summarize the rules set out in the Association's bylaws. In the event of any conflict, the registered bylaws of the Association prevail.
2. Membership Tiers and Fees
Fees are set by the Association's bylaws (all amounts in Thai Baht):
- Individual member — registration fee THB 100, plus annual dues of THB 300 per year or lifetime dues of THB 2,500
- Corporate member — registration fee THB 2,000, plus annual dues of THB 8,000 per year or lifetime dues of THB 25,000
Fees are paid by bank transfer to the Association's account shown on the membership page. Any fee change made under the bylaws or by resolution of the general meeting will be announced on this website and will not apply retroactively to fees already paid.
3. Application and Review
Once you submit a complete application with proof of payment, the Association reviews it and notifies you of the outcome by email within 48 hours. Application statuses are:
- Pending — your application and payment slip have been received and are under review; membership benefits do not apply during this period
- Approved — your application has been accepted; you will receive your member number and digital member card by email, and membership takes effect from the date of approval
- Rejected — the committee reserves the right, under the Association's bylaws, to decline any application; you will be notified by email and refunded in accordance with Section 4
If the proof of payment is incomplete or unclear, the Association may contact you for additional information, which may extend the review period beyond the timeframe above.
4. Refund Policy
- Once an application is approved, registration fees and dues of every type are non-refundable in all circumstances, including resignation or termination of membership before the end of its term
- Duplicate or erroneous transfers — contact aicat.information@gmail.com with the payment slip attached; the Association will refund the excess or erroneous amount within 14 business days of receiving complete documentation
- Applications rejected by the committee — the Association will refund the fees paid in full (less any actual transfer costs incurred) within 14 business days of the notification date
Refunds are made to the originating bank account used for payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Membership Validity and Renewal
- Annual membership — valid for 1 year from the date of approval
- Lifetime membership — remains in effect with no further annual dues, unless terminated under Section 6
- Renewal — annual members may renew by paying the annual dues through the channels designated by the Association; a reminder will be sent before expiry using the contact details you provided
6. Termination of Membership
Membership terminates under the Association's bylaws in the following cases:
- Death of the member, or dissolution of the legal entity
- Resignation, submitted to the Association in writing
- Loss of the qualifications for membership under the bylaws
- Failure to pay annual dues when due, and failure to pay within the period stated in the Association's reminder
- A resolution of the committee removing the member for conduct that damages the Association or violates its bylaws
Termination of membership does not give rise to any right to a refund of registration fees or dues already paid.
7. Changes to These Terms
The Association may update these terms from time to time to reflect its bylaws and actual operations. The latest version and its effective date will always be published on this page. Members will be notified in advance of any change that materially affects their rights.
8. Governing Language
These terms are published in Thai and English. In the event of any inconsistency between the two versions, the Thai version prevails.
